Dr. Bulman is currently completing the Diploma of Football Medicine. This course is run by some of the world's foremost medical experts through Football Medical Association and Research Centre (F-MARC).
FIFA has offered a few excellent resources over the years. For example, the FIFA 11+ is a warm up program that Dr. Bulman teaches to coaches, players and clubs as an evidence based, injury prevention program. This program may reduce football related injuries by 30-50%, and should be the new warm up program that every club implements. (If you are "Stretching" prior to playing, you are likely decreasing the muscles' power, and should not be used as the only warm up.
Another program that F-MARC offers is on concussion. However, the new diploma in football medicine is the next level of information for the up-to-date clinician interested in treating athletes.
Prof Jiri Dvorak, Senior Editor of the British Journal of Sports Medicine and Deputy editor of SPINE, leads a team of over 50 experts who contribute to the lessons. There are 42 units to complete, and Dr. Matthew Bulman has completed all which are currently available. An additional 22 units will be released in the near future, and Dr. Bulman will no doubt be one of the first to complete the program in its entirety, thus being at the forefront of injury prevention and management.
